Coffee with Karl: COVID’s Impact on Mental Health
COVID-19 and the resulting economic recession have negatively affected many people’s mental health. Fear, worry, and stress are normal responses to perceived or real threats, and at times when we are faced with uncertainty or the unknown.
Added to the fear of contracting COVID, are the significant changes to our daily lives as our movements are restricted in support of efforts to contain and slow down the spread of the virus.
As we enter week 45 of the stay home directive, mental health is becoming more important than ever. Joining Karl this week are experts from Chaplaincy Health Care. Hear from them on the challenges that they are seeing the community face, the resources that are available and helpful hints for coping during these difficult times.
SPECIAL GUESTS:
Wanda Kontur, Hospice Bereavement Coordinator
