Tri-Cities supports its highly educated population with a large variety of educational opportunities.
It is no surprise that a highly educated workforce values education. Locally employees and employers have access to Washington State University Tri-Cities, Columbia Basin Community College, Delta High School with its curriculum base on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), as well as a vocational high school, Tri-Tech Skills Center.
Unique programs offered at Washington State University Tri-Cities include the Bioproducts Sciences and Engineering Laboratory (BSEL), Viticulture and Enology, and Hospitality. Washington State University also operates its Irrigated Agriculture Research and Extension Center just outside the Tri-Cities.
